I was served by Connie at the Cannington centre the other day. She was so helpful and compassionate which was a nice shock because it had been a 2 hour wait and I figured with how busy they were the staff would be very unhappy. I unfortunately did not have all of the documents I needed for my transaction but she helped and guided me in a very calm way on what I needed to bring and didn't talk down to me. This is a lot better then the last time I came in where I got berated for forgetting my passport by another older staff member. Sariah who was helping at the front of the center was also very kind and helpful. Seems like this place is going in a good direction with the new staff.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with the recent experiences I had while applying for an NDIS check at your office. The level of customer service and unprofessional conduct displayed by your staff members have left me extremely upset and dissatisfied.When I initially contacted your customer service department to explain my situation and request an alternative lodgement for my application, the attendant refused to listen and rejected my request without consideration. Despite explaining the circumstances surrounding a student placement and the need for flexibility, my genuine needs were disregarded.During my visit to the DoT Mirrabooka office on June 2nd, 2023, I arrived at 3:16 pm, well before the office closing time of 4:30 pm, which provided ample time to complete the necessary paperwork. However, I encountered yet another incident of poor customer service. The staff member responsible for distributing counter numbers at the front counter displayed rudeness and a lack of respect towards customers, including myself. This unwelcoming attitude and discourteous behavior further contributed to my growing dissatisfaction.Furthermore, when my turn finally came at counter 2 around 4 pm to 4:10 pm, I faced an incredibly disrespectful staff member. After pointing out a minor mistake in my application, I politely informed her that I could correct it quickly using my phone. Despite explaining the urgency and importance of completing the process that day, she callously dismissed my concerns and stated that she would only serve me if she gets the time to." This response demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and empathy towards my situation. Later

I had to print a ticket and wait for almost 40 minutes to hand in number plates for two cars which had been sold to a wrecker. If you can have a ticketing system for appointments, then you could easily automate this process and improve your terrible wait times.

It was a hassle with my Malaysian driver’s license getting transferred over. Had so much issues with their database and their system. But am grateful for Dom, giving DOT 4 stars because of his exceptional service and patience in assessing my situation. He’s very kind and helped me to get through my issues and advising the best outcome

If you want to change your surname after marriage don't even bother to come here!! Its ridiculous when they unable to change. One of the senior staff mentioned have to go through birth, death registration to change the legal name first. It doesn’t make sense at all. After I left went to another DOT outlet and they it perfectly as they are more knowledgeable. Just because of this DOT they wasted my whole day by travelling to another outlet!!

I came in a week ago and had the rudest experience. The lady assessor with short white hair and is kinda old is so rude. I have had MANY people warn me about her and how she just wants people to fail their test. I stopped in the middle of the road as there was a hazard and then she raised her voice at me yelling 'WHY DID YOU STOP!?!' I got really scared and felt unsafe in the car. She could've told me this politely instead of raising her voice. And then the lady said I didn't indicate many times but I well and clearly did. If she didn't hear she should look.

Once you stepped in this department you can feel that all the staff are here to help you, not to make things difficult for you. staff name “Mimi” deserves 5 stars!! Shocking. Waited over an hour to collect some plates. Got to the desk and was asked for ID which I had. But guess what it was digital so not accepted. Doesn’t say that on the form. It has my photo and signature but they would not take it.As a lot of people now have digital ID maybe they should be more specific.Went back again and they were queuing out the door.And seriously you build a brand new establishment with no toilet facilities.

Way understaffed for the number of people they have to process.On the positive side if you have all the required paperwork for what you are there for the staff are friendly and the service is quick. Almost 1 hour wait on my visit
